About Heckblick

Heckblick is a small studio in Hannover. I make personalized posters of classic Porsches: flat vector illustrations, not photographs, printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag in Germany and sent to your door.

The name is German for a view of the rear of the car. On a Porsche that is the part that matters. That is where the engine sits. That is the picture I keep coming back to.

Each poster starts with a design, and in it is exactly your car: the model, the factory colors, and the data that belong to it. VIN or a short note, build year, first registration, the date you have owned it. I review every file before it goes to print.

I do this because a photograph of a car asks to be compared with the real thing, and it usually loses. A drawing does not. The illustration is deliberately stylized. What makes the print yours is the specification, not a camera.
